I recently visited Bull & Bar in Street, just before the Christmas rush, and what a festive treat it was! The atmosphere was buzzing with the holiday spirit, making it the perfect spot for a hearty meal before the big day.
I went for their signature Bull Tray, which was nothing short of a carnivore’s delight. The buttermilk brined chicken was incredibly succulent with a crispy exterior, while the smoked brisket offered a deep, rich flavour that melted in the mouth. The pulled pork was tender and well-spiced, complemented beautifully by the mini pigs in blankets, which added a lovely festive touch to the meal.
The sides were just as impressive; the fries were golden and salty, the pickles had the right zing to cut through the richness, and the slaw was fresh and crunchy. The dirty mayo was a bold addition, providing a creamy, slightly spicy finish to each bite. Overall, the Bull Tray at Bull & Bar is a feast fit for anyone looking to indulge in some quality British comfort food with a modern twist. Highly recommended if you’re in the Street area! The restaurant is only a stone’s throw away from Clarks Village.
