The Barrington Boar is nothing short of exceptional.
This past Wednesday, I embarked on a 40-minute journey that led me to a genuinely flawless dining experience at The Barrington Boar. This establishment seamlessly blends the charm of a traditional country pub with the exquisite cuisine of a Michelin-recognised restaurant. Sunlight streamed through the inviting interior, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere the moment I stepped through the door.
Steak & Venison Pie
The friendly staff added to the overall excellence. My meal itself was incredible. Like many other diners, I opted for the steak and venison pie – a hearty and flavourful combination – accompanied by creamy mash and buttered greens.
Homemade Rhubarb Sorbet Ice Cream
To finish, I indulged in two scoops of homemade rhubarb sorbet ice cream, served with a delightful brandy snap. Each dish was a testament to the quality of the ingredients and Chef Alasdair Clifford’s culinary expertise.
